Family owned and operated, The Shrimp King USA is located in Port St Lucie, Florida, and we work directly with fishers and shrimpers . All of our seafood is flash frozen on the boats. Once the boats come back the seafood is quickly unloaded and processed to be sold in our retail market. We pride ourselves on providing you with the freshest seafood, focusing on chemical free.
All our products are based on fresh seafood, shrimp dips, shrimp ceviche etc. That’s why we always say “from the boat to your table and from my family to yours”

Royal red shrimp

Royal red shrimp are tender, salty-sweet and one of the most unique harvestable species of shrimp in all of Florida. Almost lobster-like, they come from deep, cold water along the continental shelf at depths ranging as deep as 2,000 ft. They do not travel and you will rarely find them outside of the Southeast.

Atlantic whites

Atlantic white shrimp are found along the Atlantic coast from New York to Florida and in the Gulf of Mexico. The shrimp prefer shallow, warm, low-salinity waters up to about 90 feet deep with organic-rich muddy bottoms. They require water temperatures above 37 degrees Fahrenheit to survive. The name “white shrimp” is somewhat deceiving because when they are harvested, they have more of a greenish/blueish hue to their flesh, but turn pink later when cooked. Their meat is sweet and firm they are popular in a variety of recipes.
